Python Job: Computer Coding Instructor - Virtual Distance Lear

Are you good with people and have a passion for teaching? Then we think you would be a great fit in our growing startup! We teach people of all ages - mostly ages 5 through 18 - computer programming skills while at the same time maintaining a fun high-tech environment.

We provide a number of services to students aged 5 through 18 including:

• Online Coding Classes in small groups: (3 to 1 student/teacher ratio)
• Online Private Coding Classes
• Online Coding Camps
• Online and In Person lecture instruction for schools nationwide

Wage: Starting wage is $25 CAD/hour and up

Requirements:
There are no definitive requirements other than a clean resume and a willingness to learn. Previous coding experience is preferred but not necessarily required. The ability to establish and maintain an engaging relationship with a wide age range of students is just as important as a technical background. Applicants that have prior teaching/tutoring experience or are knowledgable in the following disciplines will be considered first - Scratch, Python, Java, JavaScript, Unity, Robotics. Experienced members of our team can also request hours for creating products, curriculum, and business partnerships across the world.

The qualified applicant will speak fluent English as well as having their own computer - including audio and video capabilities - and a stable internet connection.

In this role, you will have the capacity of setting your own availability and working as much or as little as you'd like depending on your schedule! We are hoping to retain this individual for future projects and ongoing classes, this is not a temporary position.
